Danville, Va. - Scott Anderson earned his second front row starting position of the season for Round 3 of the 2011 BFGoodrich/Skip Barber National Presented by Mazda at Virginia International Raceway. The Fort Collins, Colo. driver clocked in with a 2:06.996 sec. lap, 5/10ths of a second behind polesitter Sebastian Ordonez in a draft-dependent session.
"Phil (driver coach Phil Lombardi) and I put together a plan to hang back early in the session and then take advantage of the draft", said Anderson. "The plan worked out pretty well and I can't wait to get back on the track in the morning to try it again."
The Drivers of the Skip Barber National will hit the track tomorrow (Saturday) morning for Round 4 qualifying, with Round 3 of the 2011 BFGoodrich/Skip Barber National Presented by Mazda rolling off in the afternoon. Follow the action almost live at www.twitter.com/altemus_prime.
